On Saturday, a presidential decree published in the Official Gazette of the country abolished Türkiye’s visa requirement for citizens from six nations, namely the United States, Bahrain, United Arab Emirates, Canada, Saudi Arabia, and Oman. As per the decree dated December 23 and signed by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, tourists from these countries are now allowed to stay in Türkiye for 90 days within a 180-day period without the need for a visa. This decision was in accordance with Article 18 of the Law on Foreigners and International Protection No. 6458.
